Editorial independence
How we keep our research free from commercial influence.
Last updated 20 October 2026
Our commitment
Our packs are paid for by readers. That's the only way we make money from our research, and it lets us report on trends, products and markets as they are.
What we don't accept
- Payment, commission, affiliate fees or free products from any brand, retailer, gym operator or supplier in the sectors we cover
- Sponsored placement, ranking or mention in any pack
- Pre-publication review by anyone with a commercial interest in a pack's findings
Ownership interests
[Declare here any ownership or financial interest that Richmont Consultants Ltd or its directors hold in businesses in the beauty, fitness or wellness sectors, and how packs treat those businesses, for example by excluding them or naming the interest wherever they appear.]
Social media and sponsored content
We don't treat sponsored posts or influencer content as evidence. When we report on a trend that is spreading on social media, we describe what is being said and check it against the research separately.
Conflicts of interest
Authors and reviewers declare any financial or personal interest relevant to a pack. Declared interests are listed in the pack, and anyone with a material conflict is not involved in that pack.
Corrections
If you think we've got something wrong, email hello@richmont-consultants.co.uk with the pack, edition and page. We review every report, correct confirmed errors in the next release, and notify buyers of that edition about material corrections.
