Terms of sale and licence

The terms that apply when you buy and use a Richmont pack.

Last updated 20 October 2026

1. About us

These terms apply to purchases from Richmont Consultants, the trading name of Richmont Consultants Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number [Company number], whose registered office is at [Registered office address]. You can contact us at hello@richmont-consultants.co.uk.

2. What we sell

We sell digital information products ("packs"): trend reports, evidence reviews, market reports and regulatory briefings supplied as downloadable files. We do not sell any beauty, fitness, nutrition or other physical product.

3. Nature of the content

Packs summarise published research, market and consumer data and public regulatory information as at the date of each edition. They are provided for information, research and business planning. They are not medical, dermatological, nutritional, training, legal or financial advice, and nothing in them is a recommendation to use any product, ingredient or training method. You should take professional advice before acting on anything in a pack.

4. Placing an order

Add packs to your basket and go to checkout. Before you order, we ask you to confirm that you understand what you are buying and that you want the packs supplied immediately. Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is by bank transfer: we show our bank details after you place your order and email them to you. A contract is formed when your payment reaches us and we make your downloads available.

5. Delivery

Once your payment reaches us, normally within one working day of you sending it, your packs are available to download from your order page and we email you the links. Each download link stays active for 30 days and can be used up to five times. If you have any trouble downloading, contact us and we'll reissue your links.

6. Your right to cancel

Packs are digital content. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you lose your 14-day right to cancel once supply begins, provided you gave your express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged the loss of that right. We ask for both when you order. See our cancellations and refunds page.

7. If something is wrong

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If a pack doesn't meet these standards, tell us and we'll repair or replace it, or refund you if that isn't possible. These rights are in addition to anything in these terms.

8. Licence

When you buy a pack we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, store, print and use it for research or internal business purposes, by the people the licence covers:

  • Single-user licence: one named individual.
  • Team licence: up to five named people in the same organisation.
  • Company licence: employees of one company and its subsidiaries.

You may quote short extracts with attribution. You may not resell, republish, share publicly, upload to any file-sharing or AI training service, or make the pack available to anyone outside the licence. Institutional licences are available on request.

9. Intellectual property

We own, or are licensed to use, all intellectual property in our packs and on this website. Works by others that we cite remain the property of their authors and publishers. Brand names and trade marks mentioned in our packs belong to their owners.

10. Accuracy and updates

We take care to make packs accurate as at their edition date, and we correct errors we find. Research, markets and regulation change, so a pack may become out of date. We'll tell buyers of an edition about any material correction.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the information in a pack beyond the price you paid for it. For business customers, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data.

12. Using our research

You may refer to our findings with attribution. You must not present anything in a pack as our endorsement of a product, brand or claim, or rely on a pack as the only substantiation for an advertising or product claim.

13. Complaints

If you're unhappy, email hello@richmont-consultants.co.uk. We aim to respond within five working days.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there.
